The Houston Texans look to be making a quarterback change after only one week.

Deshaun Watson will start over Tom Savage on Thursday against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to NFL Network.

Texans coach Bill O’Brien has yet to announce the decision.

Watson took over in the second half of Sunday’s 29-7 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars after Savage completed just seven of 13 passes for 62 yards and lost two fumbles. The rookie from Clemson led Houston to its only score of the day, a 4-yard touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins, but also lost a fumble and threw an interception. He finished the day with 123 yards on 12-of-23 passing.

By taking the top job Thursday, Watson would become the ninth different starting quarterback for the Texans since O’Brien took over in 2014.

The No. 12 overall pick in April’s draft was listed as limited in Monday’s practice with an ankle injury, but he was ruled a full participant on Tuesday.

The Texans will be looking to improve their pass protection after giving up 10 sacks to the Jaguars.
