LUBBOCK, TX – Texas Tech’s first road game of the season will begin at 11 a.m. on Sept. 23 when the Red Raiders travel to face the Houston Cougars at TDECU Stadium. Television coverage will be provided on ABC and/or ESPN2.
An updated television network designation will be announced late Saturday night or early Sunday morning following the completion of this weekend’s contests.
Tech and Houston will be meeting for the first time since 2010 when the Red Raiders handed the Cougars a 35-20 setback inside Jones AT&T Stadium. Tech is 11-18-1 all-time against its former Southwest Conference foe.
Before heading to Houston, the Red Raiders will first host Arizona State this Saturday in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Jones AT&T Stadium. Television coverage for that game will be provided on FOX Sports Net.
Single-game tickets as well as mini-plan options are still on sale for the Arizona State game and the remaining five contests on Tech’s home slate.
