Who’s appeared in the most Astros openers?

Thanks to inclement weather in New York, the Astros will have to wait another day for their 2016 opener.

For shortstop Carlos Correa, last season’s AL Rookie of the Year, Tuesday’s Opening Day start will be the first of his career, while fellow star infielder Jose Altuve is poised to make his fifth straight start at second base on Opening Day.

Reigning AL Cy Young winner Dallas Keuchel, meanwhile, will make his second consecutive Opening Day start after beating Cleveland with seven shutout innings in last year’s opener at Minute Maid Park.

However, those three have a long way to catch the leaders at their respective positions for the most in Astros history.
